I just love these pastel coloured pink roses combined with white ones...

Just wanted to show you a picture of my living room.
This morning I figured I haven't done that yet..

As I moved in, the wall on the right was completely black, the floor was the same and the walls were already white.

The walls are painted in "bloesemwit" (blossom white). It's such a lovely, warm white. I love chandeliers, so there had to be one in my living room. In a Dutch magazine I saw a women who had placed shelves above the couch, I thought that was a great idea to show small things, that I want to see every day.
The seats are the famous Ikea seats. Love them.. 

My living room is almost finished (of course there's always some decorating to do or change). One wall (not shown) is empty and I would like to hang some pictures frames om that wall.

Soon I will take more pictures of the room, also showing the other walls.

Birthday High Tea

Last Thursday (the 8th of March) another year was over..
I turned 27.

This time I wanted something to do else than a party in the evening. Ever since I moved in, I wanted to do a High Tea. This was the perfect occasion and I loved planning, baking and decorating the table! I also had help from my mom, who made the wraps and sandwiches with me.

My dearest girl friends were invited and we had so much fun..

It was a perfect birthday party! Here are some pictures of the "sweet high tea table".

New look

I was struggling with the header, but I finally found the solution...

And proudly I present you my "new" blog... What do you think?

As you might have noticed, my blog has changed.. I'm trying out some new looks.


For the new look, I chose grey and white as the basic colours.
But.... I don't seem to get the right measures for the blogtitle, it's always to small.....


Maybe I'm going for a mix of pictures and a title.. That I'll have to try out...

I love my tuesdays.. At 11.ooh I'm finished at work and the rest of the day is mine..

Today I went shopping with a friend for new Clayre & Eef decoration and I found this big glass that I filled with my white and cream lace..

The letter N, I think, looks so lovely next to the birdcage, I got the letter from a dear friend.

White corner full of inspiration..

I didn't want any completely open closets in my livingroom and as I saw this closet, I fell in love... It's perfectly for showing my home decorating books and magazines, and to hide other stuff like candles.

There aren't that many books yet, but they are such a great inspiration. I keep reading and reading them and everytime I get new ideas...

Besides books, I love home decorating magazines such as Jeanne d'Arc Living and Jo-Anne Coletti's magazines.

Kalanchoe love...

As the christmas decoration is almost completely gone, I wanted some flowers for my livingroom and I found these lovely ones, that look like tiny roses.

The Kalanchoe is going on my list of favorite flowers... Isn't it a pretty little flower?
